A triumphant day at the Best Buy!!!

Most imporantly, I dragged one of my friends kicking and screaming into the iPod cult. (It's his damned fault I bought one in the first place, so I was sure as hell going to make sure he gave in and got one too.)

I also got The Critic box set, which I've craved forever. I got the first Slipknot album (I wanted Iowa but they didn't have it) and am listening to it right now. Not something I'd throw on recreationally, but these guys can really play, and the production is really good. I'll have to see what tricks I can steal. I got a Roxy Music anthology (I tend to buy anthologies to get a sense of the band, and then wind up buying all their albums later... eep) as well, although still no luck on Talk Talk, Bosstones, or Twilight Singers. Guess I need to do a trip to Toronto and cruise the huge music stores on Yonge. I also got the DVDs of The Warriors (cult favourite gang movie) and Office Space (because I'm constantly admonished for never having seen it).

And I got the PC version of Mafia because it was 20 bucks. Whee!!!
