It's so bitterly, bitterly cold here. It made my insides very, very sad.
The gf and I are spending much of our quiet time making our way to the inevitable end of the Firefly DVDs. That show is so freaking good it's not fair to the other shows. Fortunately, I believe the complete series for The Critic is out today, and I full well expect to be couchbound this evening, reliving what I think is probably my single favourite sitcom joke ever.
The punchline: "Wait a minute - penguins can't fly!!!"
If you're the type of person that gets the reference, you earn a million points. If you're the type of person that finds it absolutely hysterical, you earn a billion points and some kind of mint cookie.
I've got a new pet peeve, but I don't think I'll go into it because I'm too tired to bitch and moan tonight. I know, I know - I loves me some bitchin' and a-moanin'... but there's time, dear children. There's time. I assure you I'll get to it.
In the meantime, I'd like to play a little jazz trumpet for you.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to play the trumpet. Alas.
We're almost out of the woods. This could be a pretty big week for me.

I don't regret pursuing my English degree. I studied literature I would've never encountered otherwise, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Linguistics classes. I just want to cut some hair now.
