I'm wired and exhausted pretty much all the time now.
What I really need is to go to bed without setting the alarm clock, and to sleep for an entire weekend.
It's on the horizon. It's just not here yet.
And we're out of sugar and I really, really want some Kool-Aid. Is that so wrong?
At least it's supposed to be warmer this weekend. I think a balmy -6 or so. (I have no idea what that translates into for you Fahrenheit people.)
The end is in sight. Cross your fingers for me
Song in my head: "Tricky Boy Wonder" --Spookey Ruben
Plans for the weekend: Work. Probably watch "Alien Resurrection". Possibly watch "Secretary", which I borrowed from a friend. Definitely sleep as much as possible.
Mood: Is exhausted a mood?
Times I've been somewhere I oughtn't this week: Just once.
Toy I want: An Ibanez Iceman.
You people shake me all night long.
Update: If you've seen this article which was linked at Fark this morning, then you already know that The Family Guy looks like it's officially back on its way to television.
This is exciting news... but when you've got a bunch of frisky Fox executives who didn't really seem to get or support the show in the first place, who are now carrying around their tiny executive stiffies because they're really jazzed at the sales numbers on the Family Guy box sets... you gotta wonder if they're bringing it back for the right reasons, and if they'll stay the hell out of the way and let Seth and the gang continue to make some of the funniest television that's ever been seen. And also, I'm a little nervous that with every new season comes a heightened risk of jumping the shark. (Even Season 3 was a very tiny little bit of a letdown for me, because I think Evil Stewie is soooooooo much funnier than Gay Stewie.)
Still, it's neat, and I'll be eager to see new episodes. Although I thought that new show he was working on sounded promising. And I don't have cable. Hmm.
