so, yesterday i had a shitty day at work again... i was ready to quit right there... two people had called in and our manager has been gone for a few days (he had to leave for at least a week to help out with his sick mother in virginia)... so, i had to do all my usual work, plus help out with the things the two people who called in were supposed to do, plus do inventory for our manager... all for the shitty money i make... they put me on the schedule for 6 days this week... and adjusted it so in six days of working i still only get 2 hours of overtime total for the week (overtime pay is the only way for me to make any money here...)
anyway, so after all that shit i come home and find that my girlfriend bought me the kitchen-aid stand mixer that i had wanted for christmas, but told everyone not to get for me because it was too much money! it turns out that she got her tax return, set aside what she needed to for school, etc... and then decided to buy me a present. damn, i love her.

But at the end of the day, it all depends on if any kind hearted SG members can put me up for a week. And i suppose i'll take in the shows nearest to where i'm staying then. Still a lot of research to be done, so i'll keep you posted. I think the best thing to do would be to start a thread in Hook Up asking for help and a place to crash? What do you reckon?
