i spent the weekend in atlantic city with my friend (an ex-coworker) and his dad joined us as a late minute addition... the other guy who was going to go with us bailed last minute and his dad was thinking about going down seperately anyway... so, we dragged him along...

suprisingly it wasn't that bad... i had visions of his dad being lame and kind of making things awkward... but, for as strained of a relationship i thought they had things were actually pretty laid back and fun.

(it didn't hurt that he took off and did his seperate thing a great majority of the time, though...) wink we drove down together, checked into our 2 bedroom hotel room (that also had a pullout couch where his dad slept for the couple hours he wasn't gambling. i'm so glad i didn't end up sleeping on that. i hate those things!), went to the boardwalk and ate and then wandered around checking out the casinos. gambled a little (lost a little). watched a guy lose at least $3900 on three spins of the roulette wheel. friend and i lost $80 combined on two spins. realized that even though red came up like 10 times in a row it was still equally likely for red to come up again even though it seemed less than probable. slept a few hours. ate. my friend and i went to a car show (left his dad at the casino). took lots of pictures (of cars). met up for dinner. got a few blackjack pointers from said father. lost $50 playing blackjack. friend and i walked to different casino while his father went to play poker. friend took a casino for $1G at blackjack his first night playing. slept a little more. ate. drove home.

that was my weekend's actions in sentence fragments.

my thoughts: i miss natalie. hopefully she doesn't giggle when she reads this... wink kiss
