is christmas over yet?

i started shopping, but i'm not getting into it... i'm ready for it all to be over.

nobody's in the "christmas spirit" if it even still exists. people all over are miserable... nobody's houses are decorated... it's just sad and depressing.

that coupled with the fact that i have no idea what to get anyone, and i don't really want anything is making this all weird and boring.

all i want for christmas is to be someplace warm surrounded by people whose company i enjoy. a few drinks and some good conversations... that's it.

my mom can't get me that, though.
