I love the spring in the North. It's a different sort of green. The summer green is deeper and fuller. In Florida it's green or brown, no in between and no transition. I can put up with winter here because of the other three seasons. Y'all can have Florida. I just wish the taxes weren't so damn high in New Jersey

My tongue ring grew closed. It pissed me off. For years it didn't matter if I put my ring in for weeks at a time. Suddenly in the last six months it started closing up on me. I can't wear it during working hours so it was a constant pain to put it back and take it out. I'll get it redone, but not until I have an acrylic barbell to put in place during work.

My weekend away was way expensive. Everything got overspent. I didn't even feel rested. My goddaughter and her family tapped me for a LUNCH that ended up being $122 before tip. That's right, LUNCH. That was for 4 of us. All three of them (Caitlyn, her mother, and her grandmother) got lobster and shrimp DINNERS at Red Lobster plus drinks. WTF? And they wonder why I don't come to visit more.

I'm still in a quandry about Melissa. We have a lot in common, but she's not my type physically (that doesn't mean we don't have fun, but there are moments when it's like "oh no". I'm sure she has some of the same moments about me) and she lives a thousand miles away. I don't want and can't afford to mantain a long distance relationship. However, it's the only P I have. I also feel guilty if I look elsewhere locally. I don't want to bring it up. It's just strange all around.
