Work's been CRAZY!!! Now I have a bit of a breather before our next big project.
I'm going on my first cruise in about 2.5 weeks. I leave from Port Canaveral, FL and hit Nassau and Cococay then back. It will be a nice change in temperature compared to NJ. I don't miss the heat of Florida, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it for short stints.
I'm going with someone I dated just before I moved to NJ. We met right when I found out I was moving and I was up front about it. We agreed to a "fun while we can" relationship and have continued to stay in contact since. She is a manager at Disney and is very decided that she is staying there. I'm firmly entrenched with my job in NJ so it looks like there's no hope for something permanent. Regarding the cruise it appears that it is to be a Love Boat (or booty cruise as she calls it). We have a lot in common so we enjoy being with each other when we're not having sex. Still, it makes me want that all the time.
I'm still committed to this year being for me though. If love happens, then great. I'm not going to actively pursue it though. There are four things I want to accomplish this year. I want to learn to ride a motorcycle, I want to get back into Civil War Reenacting, I want to learn at least the basics on the guitar, and I want to take some beginning dance lessons. Add to that I will get at least one tattoo and probably at least a couple more piercings. If I can get all of that done, then I will feel fulfilled for a while. Any female motorcycle riding, guitar playing, dancing tattoo artists out there?
