I'm running up against the clock as far as my membership to match.com is concerned. July 11th ends my subscription. If I don't meet someone on there by then, then I'm finished with it. I've been thinking a lot lately of getting out and taking lessons for things that interest me. One thing is learning the guitar. Another is learning to ride a motorcycle. Also some sewing classes so I can use paterns to make clothes. Specifically Civil War reenacting clothes.

My folks are coming up to visit during the 4th of July weekend. My dad and I will check out Gettysburg. I'm hoping I'll find Joe Blunt there. He's a friend from middle school and high school. There's going to be thousands of reenactors there so it'll be like finding a needle in a haystack.

I had a weird kinda offer today. Someone I worked with wanted my info to turn in to a recruiter for Supervalu. Considering it was unsolicited and that I'm happy where I'm at, I don't know how to take it. I'll listen to any offer, but it would have to be a hell of an offer to make me change jobs. Albertsons and Supervalu have a history of chewing people up and getting rid of them. It would take a lot to make me leave the security that I feel that I have at Haddon House.

I've been seriously backing off with Amy. It's not that I feel different, but that it's not right to keep bugging her. My biggest phobia is that I'm forcing myself on someone. Whether that means sexually or just with my presence. It's not what I want.
