I had my eye surgery. It was the PRK procedure and not Lasik, so It's been a much longer recovery. Everyday my vision gets better. I'm finally starting to enjoy not needing glasses. WooooHoooo!
Work hasn't gotten any better and I really need to get a second job. This weekend I'm updating my resume and I'll start applying online for some things over the internet. I also need to get by the Community College I've been going to forever and sign up for graduation so I can start on my bachelor's degree.
My goddaughter's family is in some hard times, but I'm tapped out and they are part of the reason. A lot of my money problems are because I have a soft heart and every one of my friends that comes to me with a sob story I try to help out. What frustrates me with these friends is they'll talk about not having any money, but every time they go into a Walmart for one item they come out with "deals they couldn't pass up" and they end up spending their rent or utilities money. When I go to visit and I explain that I have no money, I always end up $100 broker than when I arrived. I hate to not see my goddaughter, but it's the only way I stay on budget.
