Having a good 4th of July weekend. I went to the Pepsi 400 race in Daytona last night. It was the first professional Nascar event I've ever been to. I liked it and the atmosphere around it. However, as far as racing goes, I think I prefer the amateur sprint races that I've gone to with friends that have raced in them. Maybe it's because I don't have a specific driver to root for?
I saw the Devil wears Prada and I really enjoyed it. While I don't have fashion sense myself, I do appreciate people (and movies about people) who do or gain the ability to.
I now have the worst behind me as far as my job is concerned. I can now concentrate on going forward and building the business back up. While I have discovered that I don't have any real passion for my new position, I am learning a lot. If only the lottery would hit!!
I get my eyes zapped later this month and I'm looking forward to it. I've decided to hold off on any more piercings or tattoos until after I get this done. For one thing, I'll need to save up the money.
