From Auf Achse:

You see her, you can't touch her. You hear her, but you can't hold her. You want her, you can't have her. You want to, but she won't let you...

Man am I in a mood or what? Actually I'm just bored because I get to spend the long weekend working.

Socks!!! My God how many times have I bought my father socks. Do you think it's a paternal thing? Like when you become a father you start craving them?! lol

Picked up the new Bjork disc today. It's very interesting, but I'd definately classify this as something to be listened to on a good set of speakers, as far from headphones as you can get. Since the entire disc is vocal, with no instruments, it's kinda strange hearing it that close to your ears. Too claustrophobic for me. At least, when you're busy writing tons...

Things like this turn my stomach and fill it with all sorts of stuff that shouldn't be in there.

It's harsh that he was arrested for that but unfortunately, I can believe it.

With regard to my (rather morbid) post, I know what you mean. Sometimes possessions are more of a burden than an asset.

By the way, I've recently organized a blog on my own site (www.epistemological.net). I'd be happy to link to yours if you like. Let me know.

Went out to catch some perforance art tonight. Very neat stuff. Here we have a local art.... thing...... it's called Birds and Stone and they put on all sorts of stuff, but I think it's open to every one for submissions.

This one was called PIPE (Performance in Peculiar Environments) and we set up as a tour of various performance pieces in a small area...

Okay, I admit my last post was a bit on the disturbing side. I promise I'll give my scalp some good treatment this weekend. Concerning the itchiness factor it's actually come and gone. What's really bugging me now is all this damned facial hair! At first I was thinking about growing in a beard, more because I could than because I wanted to, but eventually...

I may never wash my hair again. Lately, I've been much too busy to keep up personal grooming. Usually it's just a hop in the shower for about 2 minutes to scrub down the sweaty bits and then I have to be somewhere else or working on something important. I promise I'll do better this weekend, except for the hair.

I've just been throwing a...

If you don't wash your hair, your head will get really itchy. Then what will you do? wink

I''m on a role for posting today, but that's probably because I've been in front of the computer for so long. Please don't doubt the existence of my social life, I'm only endeavouring to increase it by saving enough to move downtown. Anyways, I figured that I'd make a tally of things that remind me of my crush... purely because I can't get her out...

I've known several vegans and I respect their lifestyle choices, but lines like this always gave me trouble with the whole idea:

"Once one is aware of what honey is and that it has no place in the human diet, the very thought of consuming it becomes repulsive."

It's honey. Repulsive is not a word I'd use to describe it or the consumption of it.

ber blah weather today, ambiguous white clouds with little spits of rain all morning, lows of only 8 C, and virtually nothing to do. For some reason Sundays are always the most boring day for me. I'm likely to be working extra hours today, re-doing my taxes and perhaps avoiding wearing clothes, since I'll be spending most of my time in front of a computer...

I've got me some side-work going on now, so I might just have a shot at saving up for a down-payment on a property next year. But it's a trade-off. Workin 12 - 14 hour days can be pretty taxing, and I haven't solved how I'm gonna fit poetry and other stuff like that into my schedule.

My friend comes back from Toronto next week,...
