Well, Seattle isn't a go just yet, and I'm not totally sure it will be, but thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure if one can actually drive from up here in Calgary all the way to Seattle and back in a two and a half days and still have time do do something beyond just driving. But we'll see.

Had a great night tonight. Went to a student poetry reading, and while the material was a bit rough, and pretty inexperienced, it was still a lot of fun and made me more aware of the areas I need to improve upon in my own writing. I let a buddy talk me into going to drinks, which means he bribed me out with a beer. And then he bought me another. And then I played darts and got talking with two guys from Toronto (ha!) who were shooting commercials for Shaw (the local/national television service) and then they bought drinks. So basically I got half-way hammered without spending a dime! And then I got a free ride home, so all in all it was a good night.

Now it's time for sleep so that I can get up early to get to the office early tomorrow because I think the boss is getting tired of me coming in late, as I have been for the past three days... with no good excuse, unlike tonight. Catch ya all later!
