Had a bit of a fainting spell on the train ride home today, and it's definitely not something I wanna go through again. I think it could just have been a case of over-exertion or hyperthermia or something of the like, since I ran two blocks to catch a train (which I didn't actually catch, talk about a slap in the face).

I felt fine when I got on the train (except for the bad smell of the woman standing beside me) but suddenly I had this bizarre moment where my vision sort of blurred (I think) and my hearing totally fucked out on me, my headphones sounded all staticky and every muscle in my body became weak. I was pretty worried I'd collapse right there, but I managed to hang on for a while. A guy tapped me on the shoulder to let me know I was blocking the door and I slowly was able to get clear.

I shed most of my winter gear to let myself cool off, lost the glasses and headphones and shut my eyes. The weirdest part was the staticky hearing. Everything sounded like it was being piped into my head by a bad radio. I could taste blood in the back of my throat.

Thankfully I made it home, after musing on the bus that maybe I have some sort of brain hemmorage or something. Oddly enough the thought of such misfortune (understatement) didn't bother me as much as I'd expect.

My muscles are still all woozey and I'm trying to get some water into me. Maybe some hot soup. Either way, that's my brush with death or something like it for the week. Hopefully I can get busy again.

On the bright side I managed to comp together a pretty solid design for a project (that likely no one here will see). In case I never write again, love you all and hope to be here again soon.
