Went out to catch some perforance art tonight. Very neat stuff. Here we have a local art.... thing...... it's called Birds and Stone and they put on all sorts of stuff, but I think it's open to every one for submissions.

This one was called PIPE (Performance in Peculiar Environments) and we set up as a tour of various performance pieces in a small area around their base of operations (the basement of a Unitarian church) , I'm a little disappointed because tonight was the last night (I thought it ran for four days, not three) and there were two seperate tours, so I missed out on the other half of the performance...

The strangest part of the performances was entitled Active Living and was supposed to take 8 minutes. Instead there was a girl in skimpy black underwear (and it was pretty chilly outside) and short stilettos spraypainting on the basketball court "Won't someone please take me home." The tour guide made some remarks about how no one would and I'm left very confused at to what happened. Was part of the piece for someone to actually offer to take her home? Did we wreck the piece because no one would? Is this some sort of colossal missed opportunity for me?

Also worth noting is that I finally shaved off my facial 'growth,' it was just getting too damned itchy. So now I'm back to ol' stubbly baby face! Gather round and feel the smoothness of the clean shave.

Actually, my friend (who just got back from touring across Canada for 3 weeks) was looking at straight-razors because he wants to take up shaving with one. They are priced: $15 for a replaceable razor model and $100 for a solid-blade model. Yeah.
