My weekend was mostly just busy. I stayed out until almost 5:00am Friday (or I guess Saturday at that point) after an art exhibit that my friend was putting on. She read erotic poetry, and it's always a blast to hear her read. She's the one that got me into poetry in the first place. Saturday was a half write-off, just catching up with some friends and trying to be productive. Went to bed early (cos I only got 5 hours the night before) and then spent today (sunday) doing a lot of stuff. Got all my laundry out of the way (yay, clean clothes! no more stinky!), even sheets, blanket and pillow, so I'm guaranteed a good night's rest I guess. Did my taxes for the last two years (only to find I missed some items I can claim and now I have to do them AGAIN), researched some source material for my poetry project (more on that one day), did some sketches for an upcoming web project and some page comps for a charity project I'm doing.

That about sums it up. Sounds like a blast, don't it? I still feel good for having gotten stuff done instead of just sitting around. I'm considering putting together a photo set for the Suicide Boys gallery, but I'm not crazy about having to shoot the photos with the timer, cos they never work out, and none of my friends are the sort I'd want shooting photos of that nature (weird how I'd be more comfortable with a stranger). Actually, if anyone reading this stuff is in the Calgary area and would wanna have a go at it, drop me a line (fingers crossed) and maybe we can set something up.
