Friday night I had hot wings after the Spoken Word Festival and they were actually hot! I'm a junkie for hot stuff, anything spicy and I'm all over it. But these may have done actual damage to me. My voice sounds like I've been at heavy metal shows all weekend and my throat feels raw enough to match that. I doubt it''s permanent...

Also while having dinner at a restaurant last night I decided on a whim to ask for the server's number and she gave it to me. Good things happen to me when I get involved in poetry it seems.
