Okay, I admit my last post was a bit on the disturbing side. I promise I'll give my scalp some good treatment this weekend. Concerning the itchiness factor it's actually come and gone. What's really bugging me now is all this damned facial hair! At first I was thinking about growing in a beard, more because I could than because I wanted to, but eventually...

I may never wash my hair again. Lately, I've been much too busy to keep up personal grooming. Usually it's just a hop in the shower for about 2 minutes to scrub down the sweaty bits and then I have to be somewhere else or working on something important. I promise I'll do better this weekend, except for the hair.

I've just been throwing a...

If you don't wash your hair, your head will get really itchy. Then what will you do? wink

I''m on a role for posting today, but that's probably because I've been in front of the computer for so long. Please don't doubt the existence of my social life, I'm only endeavouring to increase it by saving enough to move downtown. Anyways, I figured that I'd make a tally of things that remind me of my crush... purely because I can't get her out...

I've known several vegans and I respect their lifestyle choices, but lines like this always gave me trouble with the whole idea:

"Once one is aware of what honey is and that it has no place in the human diet, the very thought of consuming it becomes repulsive."

It's honey. Repulsive is not a word I'd use to describe it or the consumption of it.

ber blah weather today, ambiguous white clouds with little spits of rain all morning, lows of only 8 C, and virtually nothing to do. For some reason Sundays are always the most boring day for me. I'm likely to be working extra hours today, re-doing my taxes and perhaps avoiding wearing clothes, since I'll be spending most of my time in front of a computer...

I've got me some side-work going on now, so I might just have a shot at saving up for a down-payment on a property next year. But it's a trade-off. Workin 12 - 14 hour days can be pretty taxing, and I haven't solved how I'm gonna fit poetry and other stuff like that into my schedule.

My friend comes back from Toronto next week,...

Open mic night tonight it went great. I got to read some slightly older stuff, but I'm more focused on reading effectively these days, which isn't to say I'm ignoring writing, just that what I'm writing is shit and I know it. Yeah.

Spent the night ogling my crush, even tho I'm calling her just a friend now, in order to keep myself from going...

Just like a paper tiger, torn apart by idle hands. Today went fairly well. I managed to polish up some of my poetry for the reading tomorrow, so hopefully that will pay off. Some bugs turned up in the program I'm developing at the last minute today, So I guess I'll be tackling them in the morning, hopefully I can take things easy and not...

Ah, the promise of better dental hygiene! The box of Frosted Flakes that I was digging thru the other day came complete with a Tony the Tiger electric toothbrush!! I remember when cereal boxes used to come stuffed with tiny one-piece plastic toys (I used to go nuts for those things) and now they're giving away fuckin watches and CDs and DVDs and now electric...

My weekend was mostly just busy. I stayed out until almost 5:00am Friday (or I guess Saturday at that point) after an art exhibit that my friend was putting on. She read erotic poetry, and it's always a blast to hear her read. She's the one that got me into poetry in the first place. Saturday was a half write-off, just catching up with some...

Hit up an art show last night, with live readings by my crush. It was a great show, even if I didn't score a date afterwards. I'm hoping to blow my budget and go dancing tonight if the opportunity presents itself. There's a reading being put on by a local literature magazine and I know a few of the people involved. Hopefully I can latch...

Confuision hits me when I'm contemplating calling this girl, who's number I got, and suddenly I find myself drawn back to my number-one crush after a night of wicked poetry and dancing.

In the interest of not being a bastard I'm not sure what to do. Things with me and crush-girl are still mild and as far as I can tell, non-existent so I think...
