I had the weirdest dream last night that I was courting who I believe was Bjork. I'm not sure where this came from or why she was blond and we were screwing around in some sort of giant, green shower facility. This was, of course, after I spent 3 hours sliding through the same water-slide in different directions without ever stopping.

Lack of personal creative...

Lol, I can appreciate that. I have a lot of strange dreams. Last night I had one where I was in some kind of diving team and we kept having to dive in these really dark indoor pools. It was very dangerous and there was a feeling of impending doom but I can't remember why at all. Odd.

ooh green shower facility...sounds hot.

Well well.... I'm a tardy boy it appears. I'm usually better about updating such things as journals, but as I've lamented before, busy busy busy.

Took in Team America last night. Naturally it was utterly hilarious and took smart, sharp jabs at everything in site. I didn't let my delicate liberal feelings get smashed cos I knew what was on the line. I won't be...

Oh yeah, I'm totally all about updating my journal. Actually I've just been stressed out these past few weeks with all this extra work. I picked up the rest of my Futurama collection so I've got good commentary to keep me sane.

I tell you.... when you're running an eight-hour straight programming session and still going... nothing tastes better than a fresh bottle of New Castle. I'm still daffy for this stuff, and it's amusing to me, because I hated the taste of beer for the longest time. I resisted the idea that you get a taste for it. But the only word I can say now...

I still maintain that it tastes like gravy!

Hmmn, well if I'm drinking beer I quite enjoy Boddingtons. That's a British beer - it's a bitter rather than lager but it's quite light (unlike a lot of the bitters you get over here). Do try it if you have the chance. Usually comes in a yellow can.

The condo thing didn't break my mind, I'm just tied up in plenty of side/over-time work these days, so there's not a lot of exciting things to talk about.

I suddenly started listening to Cake. Mostly because there were a few of their discs up for grabs on usenet last week. If you're a satisfied Mac user go get Unison and let it sort all...

I do declare that there are few things more taxing than buying a condo. The condo development in this city is literally booming (hard to sleep over the noise some nights (haw!)) but due to transportation requirements and my entry-level budget I have been able to rapidly narrow it down to a few choices. Which is really two choices and the third option of just...

Just watched one of my all time favourite films, Solaris. If you haven't seen this film, put yourself in a state by watching it. But heed Soderbergh's words; if you don't like the first ten minutes, stop, because you won't like the next 90.

Well, I decided that the weather was being a cruel bitch and gave up my plans for moving out a month early in favour of getting some proper winter attire. So I'm now snuggly decked out in my hawt zip-up sweaters and a well fit black London Fog jacket. It's plenty warm and has some well place pockets which lets me carry all the stuff...

Man am I in a mood or what? Actually I'm just bored because I get to spend the long weekend working.

Socks!!! My God how many times have I bought my father socks. Do you think it's a paternal thing? Like when you become a father you start craving them?! lol

Picked up the new Bjork disc today. It's very interesting, but I'd definately classify this as something to be listened to on a good set of speakers, as far from headphones as you can get. Since the entire disc is vocal, with no instruments, it's kinda strange hearing it that close to your ears. Too claustrophobic for me. At least, when you're busy writing tons...

Things like this turn my stomach and fill it with all sorts of stuff that shouldn't be in there.

It's harsh that he was arrested for that but unfortunately, I can believe it.

With regard to my (rather morbid) post, I know what you mean. Sometimes possessions are more of a burden than an asset.

By the way, I've recently organized a blog on my own site (www.epistemological.net). I'd be happy to link to yours if you like. Let me know.

Went out to catch some perforance art tonight. Very neat stuff. Here we have a local art.... thing...... it's called Birds and Stone and they put on all sorts of stuff, but I think it's open to every one for submissions.

This one was called PIPE (Performance in Peculiar Environments) and we set up as a tour of various performance pieces in a small area...
