Ive had another model flake on me yesterday. Which, in and of itself, isnt all that strange. The only models that never flake are men. Guys are dependable like that; maybe it feeds their ego or something, who knows? But women... When a girl contacts me about working with me, Ive got maybe a 40-50% chance of actually photographing them. If I actually pursue her? Well then, then its MAYBE 25% chance that Ill shoot her.
Quite honestly, its ri-goddamned-diculous.
And Im talking about those that say they want to do it. Those that set up dates, times, and locations to actually shoot. Yes, the percentages are that bad.
Maybe it has to do with this town? Vegas. Everyone is flaky here, so they say. I never had this kind of problem (well, this BAD of a problem) with models in the San Francisco area. I think more people in SF wanted to be part of something artsy then here.
Yarg.. okay, Im done ranting for right now. Im going to concentrate on still-life and guys for awhile. I need to mix things up anyway.
Ugh.. I hate shooting guys. Oh well, Ill get over it.
