So here is a wee update on my last blog (if you're interested haha).
Following the surgery I had last week to remove the precancerous cells I had, I got an infection! Luckily the doctor gave me some antibiotics to take if I suspected infection. I had an infection when I had a biopsy of the area last year so I knew what to look out for. I had to go back to my doctor today because quite frankly I feel like shit! I'm dizzy, shaking, nauseous, can't sleep, have a fever, my head hurts and of course am in pain. She wasn't happy with how I'm doing so I now have even more antibiotics! I hope these guys kick in soon! Today happens to be my birthday... Not a great one to be honest! I don't really like my birthdays. It can be crap when you live alone and have little or no family. I've been emotional since the procedure anyway! I got home from the doctor to find my friend had been round to my house with a card and some cake as well as a card from some other work colleagues. I just burst into tears! Gah! Stupid emotions! It's a sad state of affairs when you'd rather be at work on your birthday haha! Anyway fingers crossed that these new antibiotic kick in pronto!
