Okay I'll cover the not so fun first! I have had low grade pre cancerous cells of the cervix for over a year now. Today I found out that this has accelerated to high grade. So, I had to have treatment for this today. I was given the option of another biopsy and waiting, however in view of the fact that I have gone from low grade to high grade in 6 months I thought let's just get this fixed now! I had tried to mentally prepare for this as they had got me in really quickly however I was still shocked. The procedure was not pleasant however they anaesthetised the cervix unlike with the biopsy last year! The treatment involved removing the affected area of the cervix (about a cm of tissue). This is sent to the lab. Hopefully this will be an end to it. In 6 months they do some tests so fingers crossed it's all clear! In the mean time I'm tucked up in bed with cats and Netflix haha!
Now for the fun! I had a great weekend off. I got to meet some awesome people and I saw Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque! First I met the gorgeous @aobh at the station and we went to a pic close to Classic Grand which was the venue for the show. In the pub we met @kiltedscotsm who is a gentle giant! @aobh had to go and do the VIP meet and greet. After she left @the_parlour arrived for a drink before he photographed the show (check out his awesome pics guys!). Once we got inside we met up with @aobh again and the lovely @ghillie and her crew including @weepaul Before the show started we had a few drinks and I got to meet @trills which was lovely. Unfortunately the venue has a really low stage. That's okay if you're seeing a band but for this kinda show... Not so much! After the opening act we squeezed to the front to get a better view. The show was awesome! Very slick and well rehearsed. All credit to you ladies for the hard work. It was waaaaay better than I had expected :) @sunny was adorable! At the end we met la belle @eileenwilliams another hopeful in Scotland. People got some photos with @katherine who popped out. After the show we went to The Cathouse and along came @sophoulla who is a wee sweetheart! She played with my boobs which was amazing! Total fan girl moment haha. The amazingly talented @cameronstewart came along with us. What an awesome dude! Even put up with the Canadian jokes:p. So a fun night had by all.
