so today's the day! Finally on my way to Texas! I'm at the airport relaxing and waiting for my flight to open. I'm flying to Philadelphia, then to Charlotte and in to DFW. I should get in around 7pm tonight. So can't wait to get there! It's been a long 8 months!
On a sad note, today marks the 7th anniversary of my father's death. He had a rare form of leukaemia and he really faught it. My life has not been the same since. Even after all this time there is still a big hole in my heart. Dad was crazy about travel! In fact the memorial tattoo I'm getting has an aeroplane and a globe on it. I know that dad would be happy that I'm flying today. It's almost as if I'm doing this in his memory. He'd love that. At least I know I'll get a hug tonight :D
