Ok so everyone is blogging with this weeks homework that @missy and @rambo set. I don't usually take part as I'm not an SG or SGH but maybe I should right? We are all a wee family here an this topic is close to my heart <3

Okay so those of you who pay any attention to my silly instagrams or pics I post know I am a serious crazy cat lady! I have had cats my whole life. My parents had a badass cat called Heidi when I was born. She used to sit and guard me when I was a baby and then she put up with my torments for cuddles as a child but was the queen of the neighbourhood. Badass and ruling her territory! She died when I was 13. I was there with her.

I then got two cool black and white cats. Samson and Delilah. Brother and sister. They were rescued from a convent and I suspect where abused. They had been feral kittens and were 6 months when I got them. They were so scared, it was heartbreaking! On the first day Delilah hid under our old stove all day! She finally came out! She was all hissy at first. One sassy girl! Samson on the other hand was timid and hid in a corner, he licked my hand and purred that first night so I knew he would be fine! It took a lot of work but they became so loving! Delilah had a lot of health issues and unfortunately I had to make the decision to put her to sleep when she was 13. I held her as she passed. Samson saw me through a lot! The death of both my parents, illness and depression ( I had chronic fatigue syndrome throughout my teens). He died aged 18. He had heart problems but was doing well then one night he came into my room coughing. When I picked him up his heart was racing and he felt limp. He was having a heat attack. He passed away in my arms. God I loved him! He was a sweetheart until the end :'(

I just couldn't bear coming home from work to an empty apartment. I wanted to take a cat from a shelter but my ex was adamant it had to be kittens! I'd heard that there was a high demand for kittens so that would give me time to get over Sam dying. That wasn't the case however! Within a week I'd heard back from a place an hour away that had feral farm kittens they needed homes for. The lady who was fostering them for the cat action trust in Lanark emailed me a picture of three kittens. I fell in love instantly! Someone else had called and spoken to her and was taking one. I got the two boys of the litter. I named them Che and Diego after Che Guevara and Diego Rivera. Revolutionary kitties! Boy did their names suit them! They were into everything. They both had bouts of cat flu and eye infections poor babies. Che was really unwell. I now have two crazy, loving, handsome boys. Che is a chatty boy. Very mischievous! Always trying to steal cat treats or trying to pick fights with his brother who outweighs him hugely! He's agile and is always bouncing about like a tigger! He loves to play with my old make up brushes. He was always stealing them! I had to get new ones and hide them! He steals random things like old wine corks and you catch him throwing them in the air and chasing them! Little freak. He loves to snuggle but no belly rubs please! :) Diego is the opposite. He is a big muscular bulldog of a cat. He's so chilaxed! He lives on my bed. He's so sweet. He loves snuggling in bed.. Well on top of me. He does have crazy time too. He's a sucker for catnip and loves his toy mousy! He has a thing for the film of cartons of Hagen Dazs. He goes mental for them! He's surprisingly agile for his huge size. He loves his belly rubbed and there's a spot between his shoulders that drives him nuts! I adore them both. They've seen me through the break up of my marriage and chronic pain problems. My loves.

I hope I haven't bored you too much. I only have pics of Che and Diego on my phone I'm afraid but I'm sure you'll see why I love them to bits <3
