Hello you sexy little Easter bunnies!

Ok so it's past Easter now but hey it sounded good in my head (a lot of things I say or write should probably stay there!).

So after a lame late shift on Saturday, I managed to drag my ass out of bed and on the 12pm train to Edinburgh to see the bestie! She's going through a tough time with one thing or another just now and a nice relaxing day was what she needed. So, we went to the supermarket and got some indulgent treats ( I got the cheese, wine and chocolate :D). We got back to her place and sat in the garden ( yes occasionally this is possible even in Scotland! :o). We sat and chatted and drank wine an ate cheese. It was great to be able to unwind. We later watched a movie with more wine an chocolate then had dinner. We had a lot to catch up on. We always seem to!

The next day we got up earlyish considering it was a public holiday. We had breakfast and coffee then headed off to see Charlotte my new tattoo artist! Very exciting. She has a little shop on a cute hilly street. She's only open for appointments. It's a beautiful little shop, decorated to echo her Japanese deco style. Really clean and professional. We sat and chatted about the design. I produced all the pictures I'd collected and my list of points I want included. I'm very excited to see what she comes up with. I'm sure it will be a colourful and beautiful memorial to my parents. After that we had coffee before picking up my friend's daughter who was with her ex for Easter (cue awkward moment! I was impressed with myself! I was civil to him and didn't tell him what I thought of him... Good girl babs!). I then headed home as I needed a wee nap haha! I was rather sleepy after my late nights and early starts. Thank god I have some vacation days coming up!
