hi sexy people!
I actually had a fun weekend for a change! I went to the Scottish tattoo convention through in Edinburgh on Saturday. It was fun and a great chance to see lots of different artists and different styles. There were a lot of lovely friendly people there. I'm not sure I'd want to get tattooed in front of a ton of random people but hey, I guess you don't always get the opportunity to get tattooed by some of the artists that were there every day, as they weren't all from the UK!
The best part is that I've found a cool artist that I want to work with for my memorial tattoo. I'm really excited about it and can't wait for our first consultation :D she's really talented. I'll post some pics at the end of my blog but you don't see the extent of her work. Her portfolio is just beautiful.
After that I went to my friends place and we chatted and cooked dinner. She's going through a rough time lately and has been distant. I found out why. She's having a horrible time with her ex and various other things. Divorce can be nasty when there are kids involved! We stayed up late chatting and in the morning she cooked me gluten free pancakes for breakfast yay! It was lovely, I really can't believe how her daughter has grown! She's so grown up now.
After that I went to meet my cousin and her partner. I can't believe they've been together 17 years now! She promised to marry him when Liverpool won the league but it hasn't happened yet! They are doing well this season so you never know, there may be wedding bells there! He's dying to marry her! We had lunch and then they rushed home to watch the football(soccer to you US peeps). I went and jumped on the train home!
Next week is super busy at work. I have a long day tomorrow. 12/13 hours or so. So not looking forward to it! I'm really sore from the hour of yoga I did on Friday. My core muscles suck haha. Hope I'm not so bad tomorrow! Hope you all had a great weekend and have an awesome week:) here are some pics, sorry if they post at the start, I suck at that part :p
