ok so I was listening to music as I was baking this afternoon and got quite emotional. I find that certain songs/albums remind me of the time I was listening to them. I suppose it's quite common. A lot of people find themselves connected to a memory of times past.
There area lot of songs that remind me of sad things, for example my parents and their deaths. As I rode in the car to the hospital the radio was playing Imagine by john Lennon. Now that just makes me cry. With my dad is was more Scottish and Irish songs played at his funeral oh and You'll Never Walk Alone... Jesuit the thought makes me tear up!
My point is, I guess, that the album I was listening to reminded me of my marriage break down. Took me back to all the hurt and emotions I felt. I know that sounds sad but it's not! I've grown so much from the experience. I'm not the hurt, broken girl anymore. I've grown into a very different woman. I think that's positive in spite of the hurt and pain. Don't you think so?
