I'm sitting here listening to the SoulAtomic radio show on EVR as I write this. I miss my special friend in New York.
Other than that, it's been a good week. Things have been busy at work, and the whole staff has been having a blast. Everyone's had a great time dancing, flipping bottles, blowing fire, and getting in massive water fights.
DeepDish came in to see me this week, looking super pimp in a suit jacket. Thank you once again to everyone who came out.
This Thursday, we're turning our Pink Party into a customer appreciation party, and it should be awesome. Everyone on my guest list gets in free, gets free drinks from 10-12, and at 1am the person who brings the most guests with them will win $100 cash. Of course, there's also a prize for the employee who brings in the biggest crowd, and I'm determined to win it!
Yesterday I managed to keep myself home all day. I saved myself from drinking until my friend came home drunk with some of her coworkers, at which point I was forced to imbibe a Michlight to try to get to their level. It didn't help, but we still had a great time until the wee hours of the morning.
It's going to be a long week at work, I'm scheduled for six days because of the long weekend, but I can handle it. I'll be a little burned out by the end of Sunday night, but I'm making it a point to not party at all this week, including tonight. I'm locking myself in the house with a pack of cigarettes and some favorite movies.
