Even that day off, I was supposed to work, but my shoulder was so friggen sore, and it was a holiday, so I said to hell with it and sat on the beach instead.
The day before, I actually started at the beach before working, so that wasn't too bad. There are much worse ways to start the day than bodysurfing at Sandy's at sunrise with not a single other person out. If only I didn't have to deal with working for free after that.

I'm really just dicking around, trying to get good sound out of the whole thing. Currently, everything sounds like the instruments are about 1/4 mile away, wrapped in tin foil. I tried micing the amp last night, but all I have to work with is this crap audio technical microphone that I got from a punk band rehersal like 13 years ago. It's only advantage is that I don't need XLR hookups to get it working.
