Ok, so for 2 years, I was teaching an electrical apprenticeship class. I'm not going to get in to the reasons as to why I quit right now, because it's a very long and pretty boring story....but I have a long history with the program, so when I saw they were in need of instructors again, I called them up.
"Oh, we actually have enough, but we'll put you on the list as a substitute if you want"
Hey, that's perfect...just fill in once in a while, great!
Yesterday around 2:00, they call me again.
"yeah, one of our other instructors backed out so we do need a full-time one. Can you do it?"
"Hey sure, no problem...when do classes start?" I reply.
"4:30 today," they reply.
Oh fuck.
So yeah, I'm a teacher again.
