wow... excellent response from the last entry. thanks!
okay, today? time to get a little political. i apoligize in advance but i can't keep my mouth shut here...hmm... should i complain about the Bush administration holding the U.N. Family Planning Funds?
"Women and children will die because of this decision," said Thoraya Obaid, executive director of the U.N. fund.
we should be setting an example for the world and what have we done? we have caved. and it's not because of our financial situation. the conservatives say they are afraid the money will go towards china and they're continued murder of newborn girls. how can they be so narrowminded? i believe that is just an excuse. i am appauled at this decision and how can we do this to our U.N. allies after all the support they have given to us after 9/11? 34 million dollars would go a long way to educating the world and we choose to send nothing? i am so ashamed.
And what about homeland security chief Tom Ridge saying the threat of terrorism may force government planners to use military domestic law enforcement?!?!
what is going on here? and when are people going to stand up and let the government know this is wrong? it surprises me that the american public has let the government get away with as much as it has, but under no circumstances can we have military forces patroling the streets. that is anarchy and is against everything we hold dear as americans. the government continues to use "the threat of terrorism" as an excusive to their dirty actions. how dare they take advantage of 9/11. we already have the problem with racial profiling...when are people going to realize what is going on....i hope before it is too late.
sorry to blab on... i don't usually like bringing political things into this journal.

And I told the guy yesterday to go to the Brasserie Montmartie. It's okay, relatively cheap French food with an awesome atmosphere. It was right around the corner. I wasn't going to brainstorm every restaurant when I knew he was probably secretly writing down my license #. But apparently, nobody did 'cause the hit car lady was clueless. Dammit! Ha ha.
