Roy Orbison - A Love So Beautiful. What is it about Roy Orbison? That voice evokes weeping, I am convinced. This song in particular is one of the finest ballads I have heard.
Roxy Music - Amazona. Bryan Ferry. Another remarkable vocalist. One of my favorites. The backing instrumentation of this song sounds like a Clash song and the chorus seems like some Pink Floyd tune with some incredible guitar work by Phil Manzanera. This is a song that shows the depth Roxy Music really had.
