The problem is that I sometimes get bored between hands while playing poker. Blackjack provides a tempting alternative. Blackjack is a gambling game, meaning that I will probably lose money in the long run. Meaning that, should I choose to play, it will decrease my poker earnings.
I gave it a whirl during my last poker tourney. Won 3rd place (+$6), but had a net total of -$5 because I played some blackjack.
Moral of the story: when my games are running slow, I should come and look at nekkid girls. It will save me money and prevent a gambling addiction.*
