There is always room for improvement. I'm not trying to be motivational, just realistic. I think self improvement is what life is about. I believe in the evolution of self.
You can always be better than you are. Smarter, Faster, Stronger. A better Listener, Worker, Thinker. Music, Art, Writing, Reading, Anything That Means Something To You Can Be Improved.
I used to have unattainable standards for myself. It was crippling. I realised that it was far more hurtful than beneficial to expect more than you know you are capable of. I recognize my limits now.
All I can do is strive to be better today than I was yesterday.
And just one last thing. If you're self-destructive but not destroyed... You're not trying hard enough.
