I moved back cause my worl visa expired and I can't get another one with out returning home for six monthes, So hopefully by next summer i will be back, but in the meantime, Vancouver is were I grew up and my family is all here, well they live in Victoria actually. I quite like the city, but did not realize how un dog friendly it is.

anyways, you're right- i was thinking about this recently, about how i have and haven't changed as i've gotten older- and i realise that in many ways i still feel like the same person i did a decade ago, but my ideas are more defined, my opinions more concrete, less neutral, my values much more clearly outlined, and my tastes- well, i think they kind of evolve as you do, because you want and need different things from everything- be it relationships, or entertainment. also, i think, the role you play IN your relationships change- i used to sort of be the baby of my family, now i'm sort of the tower of strength who looks out for everyone- it's weird- and i think sometimes our make-up changes so subtly we're not even really aware we have changed. you know? ah, i'm rambling here, aren't i? and not even really on topic. oh dear.
