-went snowboarding
-ate chocolate glazed mini donuts all day
-met pascal, a cute french boy
-ditched my friends
-talked about kielowski
-i smoke camel lights now. they are more expensive than benson and hedges. i did not know this. they are $3.50 in US and $10.50 in canada.
-im worn out and exhausted.
-talkin about kielowski made me wanna watch these, again:





why do i love this movie?
one of the reasons:
there are two murders in a short film about killing: the slaughter of the cab driver, which runs slightly over seven minutes in length (and apparently is the longest murder in the history of cinema) and the execution of jacek, a scene that lasts about five minutes.

and also this:





i love this brief feature because there is more real feeling in it than in a hundred full-length hollywood romantic comedies.

PS. i'm going to see hotel rwanda with my brother tonight, he rocks:

is the blond man in the poster for A Short Film About Killing the same guy from the killing segment in the Decalogue? Or is that actually the same film under a different name? I haven't seen it in years, but that dude's face is scary...
