Im back home from the wedding i went to up north, I seen my uncle, who's somebody i've always been close to gt married, and it was lovely.
I left on thursday to stay overnight in Conon Bridge just outside Inverness, then on friday we stopped in Ullapool then to Assynt. On friday night my whole family was there and we had an awesome party, and andrew came out back with us to have champagne and get pissed because everyone else was boring, then my mate mark came out because he was making a video of the weekend, I've known him since i was 14, and was meant to move in with him at some point, but every time i talk to him now my mum freaks because she thinks theres something going on between us. but we just had a laugh and wound her up. In the morning we were having breakfast together so we wound her up that bit more by pretending I slept in his room for a spoon. ha.
Anyhow, my brother got up on Friday night because he was working, so he took 2 of my cousins, we were pissing ourselves though because last month his bmw got wrote off, then he hit a deer and killed it by mistake, and the front of my mums car is all mashed up. Was awesome though because just having a laugh with my family was great, I was getting quite stressed because I thought I wasnt going to handle being in a big group very well.
On friday during the day I went to the beach in Achmelvich which was stunning, and it basicly the north sea, managed to take a dip, up to my neck, fully clothed though, my new dress was a bit ruined, and done some kayaking and got uber burnt.
The wedding on saturday was beautiful, never been to a proper scottish one, but laura looked beautiful in her wedding dress, and then we just got drunk and danced.
By the time we got to bed we couldnt sleep because mountain rescue were looking for someone. There were two students staying in the hostel, who were hanging about and trying to get free booze from the wedding had left to go camping on Loch Assynt, however they were wasted and bet one of them to swim across Assynt, he got across but disappeared on the swim back over. The newspaper doesnt seem to mention how drunk they were, the search was called off because it would be impossible to survive
