Sympathy. Am living with my other half and two mates I got to know when I did the uni thing - only problem is, I thought I was messy till we moved in together. She must have been born in a barn yard or summat. You want to eat? You have to wash a pan and plate first. Best not to walk round bare foot - no idea what you might pick up. That kid of dirty. Thing is, I work full time, as does my other half - do either of them? No...

Moving away is always odd. I did at 17, and although I don't regret it for a minute, because it made me grow the hell up, it is weird when all my mates from back home went to the same uni just down the road, and they all go home every weekend, whereas I can't do that because it's an airfair as well as a long bus journey! But you won't regret it; and uni/college is great - if only for the parties and the peeps you meet.

Birthdays for mum's are easy! Make her something. Get some tissue paper, some thick colored paper, make her a card, and make her like a 'Mum's Gift Book'. Coupons and the like for stuff for her in the future. Ya remember, like when you were a kid. They like that, and it'll usually make her happy.
