The visit is over... and I'm kinda releived...It got awkward near the end.

But now I have another problem on my hands...any advice is MUCHO appreciated on this one...

For about a year now I've been dreaming, and planning on throwing a party/rave called Trailerpalooza.
The idea is that this is not your average "white party"... It's a white trash party!!!

I recently booked a venue, booked DJ's, bought decorations, and had some other decoration ideas in mind.
Today..yesterday by the time anyone reads this since it's after midnight, I found out that my roommate.. a promoter of note in the local and somewhat in the prairie rave scene is bringing in a MUCH larger perfomer(Infected Mushroom), only THREE days ahead of my party. (His party is also on the same night as the SGB show)

Here is my question. Should I continue with my plans for having this party...which has been a dream for a year, and risk losing my shirt.? OR, should I pack it up, and try to throw this party some other time..? (some other time looks something like next year or never)

Help me out folks....
