1733 hrs 128 degrees 05AUG04
had myself the longest fucking day ever. well actually all my days are equally long but today just dragged on till no end.......uuuhhh until now.
to think, i aways thought working an 8 hr shift at a call center sucked ass.....nope. 14 hrs on patrol...THAT'S 14 HOURS PEOPLE....out in the wilderness which is iraq. specially since at about 2 pm it was 142 degrees outside. harr'(hot) coolishharra(very hot). but you get used to it. the only thing that i will never get used to is coming back to my room and just stinking of sweat. when all of your clothes are soaking wet. if you ever get the chance to come over here, i suggest that you shave, everything.
another thing that i could prolly never get used to is the culture. i knew that i was going to be pretty diverse before i came over here but actually talking with some of the people and watching them in action really gets you thinking.
still pretty excited about my leave. first off i get out of this hellhole. i get a little well earned time off. i get to visit with my family and friends(sgtc friends included), which i haven't seen since christmas, booze, booze, booze.
and HER. that special someone in your life. i wish all of you could meet her, mabye someday, but i can't even begin to describe this woman to you. the way that she thinks, her personality, her gorgeous body, eyes that could melt steel.HOT. out of all the things that i get to come home to, she makes the whole trip worth while.
oh and i have less than 10 days to go before i jump up outa here. see everybody soon

my bad.
stay frosty, stay alive.
if it counts at all, i was in the twin cities last week, and it was coooooool. like 70 degrees. very nice, and a change from every time i've been there in the past.

i went 'up north'. bemidji way. my fiance's folks have a place in park rapids and i sat around on a lake drinkin' beer and water skiing.
i know, my life is tough.
