Ah yes the beginning of football season. The tailgating. The cheerleaders. The booze, and of course not to forget the drunken screaming at the home team to move the ball. There is no better time in a football fans life than those short 5 months that is football. Always counting down the days of the week to see your team pounding down the field for the inevitable 6 points that you KNOW they are going to score. The time of year that turns the dreaded end of the weekend into the day we all wait and yearn for. 32 teams all striving for the goal that only one can achieve. The imfamous Lombardi Trophy and the coveted ring. For too many years the face of victory has been held by pretty boy pretenders getting lucky with snow, and referees on their side have been sucking up the glory. When real teams have trodded through the mud, suffered through injuries and mayhem. This year the so-called Champions will be laid to rest. There will be no more of the dynasty that WAS the Patriots. The time has come when a real football team will come from the shadows to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. And for the fifth time they will be crowned Champions of the NFL. And the world will know of the team that has laid the former Champs to the grave. Behold the new reign of the PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!!!!!
