Happy Sunday everyone! Today we here to celebrate our beautiful @mailinya for her first SOTD! She became an official SuicideGirls yesterday, thanks to her set La Veuve Noire shot by @kervador. Did you recognize her cosplay? Seems pretty easy, it has been done so well and this theme fits @mailinya perfectly.

We asked her to share her story with SuicideGirls and she accepted right away! So here it is, only for you guys!

I've been dreaming of photography modeling since I was in high school. At that time, my best friend was taking pics of me in the fields. Since I had a fashion style that was kinda punk, I heard sometimes friends saying SuicideGirls style would fit me... But I did not know what it was. The first time I acknowledged about SuicideGirls, it was because a friend of mine, who is good with ropes, had gone to a shooting as a rigger, and one of the models was a Suicide Girls (@mandeelou), and he told me about her, so I subscribed to instagram to follow her. Then I discovered other girls from the website (like @marlene) and I admired them so much and found them so beautiful I began wanting so bad to be part of those girls who made me dream.

I was doing shootings quite often with @Kervador a photographer to whom I talked about this project, and he agreed to shoot my first set with me. I was so happy when my set was accepted for member review ! I had become a Hopeful Suicide Girls !

At the beginning it was quite difficult for me to post on the website, because I am a bit shy and I did not know what to share, or where in the website... I did not know anybody there, so it was a lonely journey during the first years. Though, I began to talk with some members of the website, who were very nice and supportive, and I never stopped chatting with some. I want to thank them so much, because this journey would not have been and would not be the same without them !

I was very lucky and excited when I first shot with a staff photographer, who was coming to my town. @Chinaski was really nice and until this moment I really wanted to meet other people from the site, but it was difficult for me because I could not find anyone in my area.

I finally had the chance to meet other people from the website during a trip to Nantes, where I met @Acsebo, @Mimo, @Marlene, @Nikitaray, @Adeli, @Aleyna and @Chinaksi. That weekend was wonderful, even better than my expectations. Everybody was so nice and I am so glad I met them. I think at this moment I really understood what was SuicideGirls, not just beautiful girls doing amazing pics but before all an amazing community with extraordinary people.

When I turned pink, @Marlene told me even before I discovered it by myself ! I am so very happy to be part of this community, and I can't wait the lockdown to be over to be able to travel again to meet those amazing people !
