still lots going on with me.
i learn new shit every day. its awesome.
so far here is my favorite thing i have heard/learned today, that is quite appropriate for discussion on this site. so, edouard manet's "olympia," clearly a take on titian's 'venus of urbino'... my art history teacher says, "you know everyone tried to make the dog in 'venus of urbino' represent loyalty and marraige in the painting,

but as for the cat in 'olympia', the play on words is the same in french, as it is in english, it suggests paintings like this are and have always been about the pussy...cat."

elsewhere in my life... sinced it's almost may some friends of mine and i are throwing an 80's prom. and i'm making a movie out of it too. it might be more of a 80's goth prom though, the plan the party, party is tomarrow night. we've found that themed parties make everyone want to have a bit more fun. i've got some great music ready for for it, i'm talking t'pau "heart and soul." dance all night.

today was also great cause my ipod began to work again... leading me to claim that water doesn't break electrical objects, it just makes em sick for awhile. until it gets over it.
