good morning again, since my house has no phone line i have no internet access from home, so now i will do most of my journal updates from this silly computer class i have at 8, four days a week. i dont mind it really.
it was just a grand first weekend in asheville. giselle and carly came up... we got F'D up AND i went skateboarding... not in that order though. ya, i was SUPER stoaked to ride the asheville skatepark, i had to wear a helmet but it was cool. i met all kinds of little punk skate kids who were all really cool and reminded me of my heyday. i havent had that righteous soreness in the front of my theighs in soooo long and i was proud of myself for being sore the next day. i really didnt do as bad as i thought i would!
marco came up on saturday and as usual with him, there were extravagant activities with contraband. i made a new friend named britt that night as well. she told me that SG, Adora goes to UNCA. so i'm sure i'll end up meeting her sometime soon with the ammount of time i spend on the campus... cause until i am employed i am taking as much free food as i can get!
on sunday i took marc, who is a bigtime skateboard duuuude, by the park, but he was just toooo much of a STREET skater to have fun on all those bowls. whateva! i decided i would just wait till today when all the kids are at school to skate. so instead i went and bought a new DIMMU BORGIR cd. ya, i am really going through a big ol' norweigan black met-HELL craze, partially inspired by the AWESOME work of Peter Beste, someone YOU should really check out. super interesting shit. another artist that i became instantaniously captivated by over the weekend is a guy named alex grey. i came upon one of his books in some alternative store downtown and couldnt be taken from it, i'm headed to the library at A-BIT after class to see if i can pick up more stuff from him.
oh ya and i got my best compliment i have had alllll week yesterday, after a short conversation, a girl who i have known vaguely for awhile named lindsey told me "i admire your free spirit" and she wasnt playing around! yep.... that made me happy. allllright i gotta sorta pay attention in class now.
