Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit store that sells things from all sorts of disadvantaged countries and gives all the profits back to the artisans. Fair trade kind of thing. There's a lot of nice stuff there. I bought a nice journal with leaves on the front of it (we couldn't resist them) and some cards, and some paper stars that hang in a chain and a hanging stack of turtles and a little stone elephant. Stuff like that. Totally unnecessary stuff. They had a lot of nice brightly colored toys and a bunch of really cool instruments, mostly the kind that you shake. There was one I really wanted that I should have gotten. I might go back, although it's the kind of place that we should never go back to, because we spend too much.

I'm mildly flattered that you're feeling totally reclusive but you still want me around. Unless I'm wrong, and you don't want me around at all
