So here's a lesson on letting go. I was playing my guitar outside of my work and this girl from one of my last classes walks by with her group of freinds. She used to sit next to me and i'd tell her jokes and stuff, nothing flirty but i thought we were on very friendly terms. She walked close enough that i could have...

well, you just have to work on your dog technique. hah, you should go to a place like a dorm. I'm not allowed to have animals and when anyone comes around with one I flock to it. You'll get the follow-through eventually!

I wasn't yet drunk at 9:30, actually. Not that that's important, since I was drunk the rest of the weekend...

How was your weekend? Did you get to go spend your money, or did you have to fix the... thing, that needed fixing?

My favorite piece to play on the viola is is the Hebrew Suite by Bloch. It is really awesome. Also fond of Shostakovich's viola sonata. But everything Shostakovich wrote is good, at least in my humble opinion.

I met a lot of dogs this weekend that I really liked. There is a girl here with a tiny dalmation puppy that flops around and is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I got to meet it last night when we were sitting outside being obnoxiously drunk and rolling around in the grass and she brought it out to do its business. Made me want a puppy so badly. Trouble with that though, is that they don't stay puppies, and then you have to deal with a whole dog.

What's in your pockets?
And don't say your precious or your hands. But if you're handling your precious, then i guess that's a different story.

i just got junk in my pants tongue
-Wallet (ID and cards but no photos)
-$48
-10 to 20 guitar picks
-emergency bus fare
-money for a pay phone call
-keys, most of them don't open anything
-bunch of dog poo...

P.S. Their ears are shaped differently too (the dogs), and that helped.

Ooh, maybe! Actually, later I saw the two males walking together, so now I'm thinking maybe they're actually gay ducks and they just keep the female around for show. shocked

So i'm indulging in a new death sport. Fuck running with the bulls, try running with the dogs. Normally you have to shoot at me to get me to run, but i love running with these bastards. The problem is that sometimes they see a squirrel or get confused about which side of the tree to run around and 250lbs of dog is suddenly pulling...

-I haven't heard of specifically ticklish rats. I know that I've had rats who loved it (though we called it squiggling) and would get all happy and excited. I had no idea they were bred that way though. That's bizarre.
-I know greyhounds have a lot of problems, but that's part of why I want one, especially a retired one. They need some place to go. There's a group that puts them in homes, and they do a lot of checking up to make sure it's a good match and the dog will be taken care of and everything. I think the meanness just depends on the specific dog. I've been told that they make really good apartment dogs, because they're really lazy after spending the first part of their lives running all the time. I don't know, I'll look into it more, of course, and it will be quite a while until I am staable enough for a dog anyway.
-I have not tried grey goose, but I have been told that it is excellent. I have actually never had very high quality vodka, but the fact that I still love it implies to me that I would probably like good vodka even more.
-I figured the movies were a joke, but I was prepared to back away slowly if they weren't tongue

contest: Is it William?

Hehe, but I do hope the weather is good today, because I really wanted to wear a skirt for some reason.

Sorry, not the math boy. Actually, it's the ex, but since he happens to kind of be a math boy too, I'll give you half credit smile

That sounds really beautiful. Could you possibly pay attention to something like linear algebra while that was going on?

Yay! I win! I know I had a fifty fifty chance there so I could have guessed, but I really did try to figure it out, so I'm proud. smile

blush thanks.

You shouldn't stay friendless. There's no good reason for it! It's just lonely. Anyway, I tend to consider my friends list more of a list-of-people-I-like-to-talk-to. Like, I tend to talk to you a lot, and it's a heck of a lot easier to find you at the top of my page, than to go search through my comments or something. You were the first person who's friendship i actually requested though, and that was pretty scary. whatever

I've been thinking about dogs a lot lately, but they're not exactly practical in a dorm room. When I get an apartment some time in the future, I really want to get a retired greyhound.

(are those really your favorite movies?)

maybe it is my fear of losing what i have that causes this unease and discomfort. i tend to worry and fret over things i couldn't change even if i had the strength of 10,000 oxen in heat.

The stuffed rabbit just showed up in my room one day. I came in, and he was just sitting there, drinking my hand lotion. I told him to get the hell out, but he threatened to break all my stuff if I didn't let him stay. Now I have to buy hand lotion every other day to keep him happy. I also feel sorry for the little guy. If he doesn't get his fix, he goes into shock, and I'll come home to find him twitching and writhing in the corner.

I want anyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less.

Ask me anything you want. Really. I'll answer anything. (well, except for personal info such as name, address, social security number, you know.. the creepy shit)

Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

Buddha said: "I consider the positions of kings and rulers as that of dust motes. I observe treasures of gold and gems as so many bricks and pebbles. I look upon the finest silken robes as tattered rags. I see myriad worlds of the universe as small seeds of fruit, and the greatest lake in India as a drop of oil on my foot. I...

He who offers to me with devotion only a leaf, or a flower, or a fruit, or even a little water, this I accept from that yearning soul, because with a pure heart it was offered with love.

Whatever you do, or eat, or give, or offer in adoration, let it be an offering to me; and whatever you suffer, suffer it for me.

Thus...
