I haven't got a single tattoo and I've never had a piercing before either. I'm not by any means against either though. I do however have a lifetimes worth of scars that can tell a thousand stories that a tattoo never could and I survived cancer and have seen more needles in shapes and sizes that the even the sickest mind could never imagine. Nobody reads this so I'm not worried about offending anyone, I really wouldn't care anyway, lol. I think tattoos are hot, to a certain extent, I also find the female body to be beautiful. Not going to lie, I've always wanted to get a tattoo but I don't think one would be enough then neither would 2 or 3 or more. . . I've got a story to tell from every sport I played, every where I visited (almost). Not because I was clumsy by any means but because I've been fearless. I guess what I'm saying is that, I've seen some girls that looked really great with some amazing work that accentuated the amazing features of their bodies only to keep adding on and those wonderful features have become lost. My question then, is when does it become more of an addiction then a statement, when do they go from meaning something to hobby?

exactly ^ tattoos are symbols, part of ourselves. They have meaning. But they can also become sort of an addiction because it's art and art is never enough and your body is a blank canvas so it's all connected
