i'm very proud of slam on rye. it's a monthly poetry slam held here in modesto.. it's a little bit of culture in this vast artistic wasteland.. and one of the things i'll miss most (besides my friends, of course) about this little crap-hole town.

Anyway, good luc k with the date! I've never been to a poetry slam, I'll have to check it out sometime if I get up that way.
