Dear Boy,

I resent the implication that by virtue of the fact that I'm attracted to you, there must be something inherently wrong with me.

pekopoko:
That sounds like the boy's problem, not yours.

Yes, home theater equipment is indeed mystifying and it's hard to get a sales person who's not trying to convince you that their product is simply the only option. Rarely will they actually outline the more broad principles of what you should be looking for... The guy I spoke to the other day was cool though and often said, "regardless of where you get this, look for x feature, etc...." I always appreciated not getting treated like an idiot by sales people. I'll actually buy shit from them.
amadio:
I didn't mean to imply something was wrong with you, I meant to say that I have a room waiting for you, and the chains are long enough for you to reach the shower on your own.

Here's a little secret:

I despise music history.

What? You say you already knew that? whatever

pekopoko:
Really? I kind of liked it, if for no other reason just that it contextualized a lot of world history for me that I'd never really related to. Seeing history in the context of the creation of music just made it all click for me for some reason. And I'm a big nerd too... But it was fucking hard and all of the dates I had to memorize were just numbing...

Is your focus composition or performance?
pekopoko:
Yeah...the testing was a bitch. I did well though cause I've got OCD down pat and was able to do massive study sessions to get it all straight in my head. Thank god those days are gone.

I changed my major in school to music rather late (beginning of my junior year), so I didn't have time to do the full on composition major that I should have done (would have taken another year - no thanks), so I just did a basic music major with an emphasis on guitar and comp. I also took over our schools recording studio and that's where most of my growth really happened.

So do you want to teach voice? Are you into more classical or 20th century stuff?

One of the things I love about this site is looking at the bodies of hundreds of girls (members as well as SGs) and realizing, "Hey, maybe I don't have it too bad after all." And lord knows there certainly seems to be an appreciation for durn near every possible type of body represented on the boards and/or groups.

Today at the gym I was...

My, but I'm in a horrible mood. Blame it on my 1040.

But rather than bitching and carrying on about how much I hate the Infernal Revenue Service, I'll just tell you to go look at pictures of me from high school. wink

As Singles Awareness Day celebrations go (that's Valentine's Day to the uninitiated), last night wasn't half bad.

We've made an agreement. If I say something that he doesn't agree with (like "You're beautiful"), rather than saying something to the effect that I obviously don't have my contacts in, he's supposed to just kiss me on the forehead and leave it at that. I grow weary...

Back to classes the week after next. It's going to be weird to be around people my own age again. Well...closer to my age than elementary school children, anyway.

It's the middle of January and it's 82 degrees (Farenheit, dur). God, I love California sometimes.
