So yesterday I told my office to piss off and went hiking instead. I managed to do about seven miles grand total, and it's amazing the difference that a good pair of shoes and socks make. I also managed to fuck up my starboard hip pretty righteously, but all in all I'm experiencing much less pain than last time, regardless of the fact that the...

My own personal Cinderella story is backwards. Rather than waiting for Prince Charming to come find me with his Gucci loafer, I am the one questing -- looking for a bloke whose fingers fit perfectly in the spaces between my ribs, whose thumb seems made to rest in the hollow of my hipbone. I found him. And there's a whole lot of other things about...

Emo boys need to start taking their cues from premenstrual women -- namely, the notion that chocolate is a cure-all.

I have to see The Ex tomorrow, for the purpose of switching his cell phone over into *his* name rather than mine (I got it for him as a gift about two months before we split; shoulda known better). The extra $40 a month should...

I like papawheelie's idea! Although I'd take the chocolate over the blow any day of the week wink

And if you learn the moves from those pictures, you're a better dancer than me! I know the moves, and those diagrams still confuse me. But maybe that's just because I can't stop laughing, hehehe.

I thought for a moment I'd like to try waist training....but then I realized that as a singer, I need all the room I can get for my diaphragm to expand.

My Significant Other is amazing. Every time I see him, I go all squishy inside. biggrin

I got everything I wished for in my last entry....except it's Saturday, not Sunday, morning. love

And now I'm off to yoga for the first time in about three weeks. Between this and last night, my hamstrings are going to be killing me today.

Good for you.

The Danza is hilarious. Had not heard of that one.
The "From Hell" I was just reading is Alan Moore's. The one that they made into a very mediocre movie, but the comic is amazing. The man is a genius.

I want to be curled up, nude and alabaster-pale, on top of leopard-print sheets. I want my forehead gently kissed before I open my eyes to greet the world on a Sunday morning. I want to feel long pointed fingernails hard on my back, scraping miniscule trenches that blossom red and pink. I want my bare nipple tweaked by a genius' fingers as I sit...

Never again will I be the first person to say "I love you." Not yet sure if it's because I don't want the responsibility, or if I'm just afraid I won't hear it returned.

Have had a massive fucking headache for about a week now. Rehydrating hasn't helped, and neither have OTC drugs. Finally broke down and took some codeine, which kills headaches dead.

Also,...

Your very welcome for the compliments. I'll tell you what I said to someone else: If I like, respect, or enjoy something, I'm very happy to say so.

Complete sentences... You mean someone else actually cares about that? I use writing online as a way to brush up on my skills, not a way to let them degrade. Lordy knows I need all the practice I can get. (Artist here) My daughter's mom was a good writer, so I got a lot of pointers whether I wanted them or not... Hehhe

I can understand your fears about putting yourself out there emotionally in a relationship. We're all at different places ,mentally, and even when you're cognizant of what's healthy, the leap to putting that in practice can take a while. I think a good way to approach it is to remember that you'll be ready to do it when your ready to do it...and not before. Does that make sense? Some day...some insight that you hadn't had before will allow you to get there and then BAM, you've grown a little. :-) Do you get the feeling that I like talking about this? I do...for some reason.

Have a good night.

WTF? How in God's name did I manage to pull a 3.72 GPA last semester? I had work missing all over the place and absences right and left.
Oh, wait. I'm still stuck at Schwab-Ass Junior College. How silly of me.
Regardless, I'm not going to argue a 3.72 -- transfer, here I come!

I'm home on a Friday night with a massive fucking headache. My Significant Other is not feeling terribly well either, so it's probably best that I don't get to see him till tomorrow. On the up side, I'm test-driving cars in the morning: VW Jetta, Ford Focus, and Toyota Echo. Anyone have any suggestions for other cars in this approximate price range?
godzuki:
I'm home due to heat. The thought of going out to go see a band, even a band as awesome as the Fruit Bats, in the hot sweatbox they're playing in tonight has little appeal when it's 90 degrees out. ugh.

Bloody hell....there are absolutely no words to describe how much I detest driving. mad Oh, the Southern California freeway system is a wonder, all right....so wonderful that all sixty million fucking residents have to be on it at the same goddamn time. And the fact that the right side of my neck and my right shoulder are totally hosed (for no good reason, I might add)...
